Kelly Lewis
Field Director

Kelly Lewis is a Field Director for OutFront Minnesota. Kelly has extensive experience working for progressive causes. She worked for the Missouri Public Interest Group in 2005 in a campaign against a federal anti-environment initiative; worked on a U.S. Senate campaign, was a delegate to a state political convention in 2008, and previously worked on the 2004 presidential campaign.

Kelly is a Fellow with Wellstone Action! and is a trainer for Campus Camp Wellstone in which she’ll travel across the country to train college students about strategies in grassroots organizing and the importance of progressive politics and electing progressive leaders.

Kelly is a board member of aMaze, a nonprofit organization of parents, educators, and other caring adults working to create safe and respectful communities by promoting the knowledge, attitudes, and skills needed to work together across differences.

Kelly is a member of the Rainbow Health Initiative and Tobacco Free Lavender Communities community advisory board. She is also a member of the Color CoordiNATION Steering Committee, working to bridge individuals with intersecting identities within communities of color who are GLBT-identified for community engagement, leadership development and wellness.

Kelly graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in the summer of 2008 from the University of Minnesota.
