9:00 am - 9:50 am "From Worst to First: Changing Minnesota Law to Protect Students from Bullying & Harassment”
Minnesota currently has the weakest anti-bullying law in the country.But you can help change that! Come learn about the Safe & Supportive Minnesota Schools Act, a comprehensive bill currently being debated at the State Capitol. We'll talk about what's in the bill, and provide a training on the skills you need to tell your story about why safe schools matter. Facilitated by OutFront Safe Schools Organizers Katrina Plotz and Justin Anderson.
10:00 am - 10:50 am "Stand Up, Speak Out"
Stand Up, Speak Out is a student-led initiative working towards the reduction and ultimate elimination of bullying in Minnesota schools. It's an event held every October at the Blake School in Minneapolis, initiated by the Blake School Justice League - a student-led group that values diversity, acknowledges systems of privilege and oppression based on identity, and seeks equity through action, education, and support. Come learn how you can put on a Stand Up, Speak Out event at your school. Facilitated by students from the Blake School Justice League.
11:00 am - 11:50 am "Making Schools Safer Through Student-Led Organizing"
Find out what the "Student Leaders Creating Change” group is doing in Rochester to address bullying. Members of the group will talk about how they train fellow students to intervene in bullying situations and actively engage in bullying prevention at school and in the community. You'll learn skills you can take back to your GSA or other student-led group and use to create a safer, more inclusive climate at your school. Facilitated by members of Student Leaders Creating Change – Rochester Public Schools.

9:00 am - 9:50 am “Engaging Faith Communities through Public Storytelling”
More than ever, faith communities have come forward as powerful allies in the work for LGBT equality. This doesn't "just happen." This engagement results from long-term efforts to share stories about our lives and our faith. This session will help people deepen their skills in this critical area. Facilitated by Rev. Rebecca Voelkel, Institute for Welcoming Resources & Faith Program Director, National Gay & Lesbian Task Force.
10:00 am - 10:50 am “A Racial Equity Agenda for Minnesota”
Structural barriers stand in the way of opportunity and are undermining the prosperity for our growing communities of color and for all Minnesotans. But solutions exist: the 2013 Racial Equity Agenda, which OutFront Minnesota has endorsed, sets out some of those solutions, bringing multiple voices together through organizing and policy priorities with a shared vision and strategy for racial justice. This session will explore this Agenda in greater detail. Facilitated by Vina Kay, Director of Research and Policy for the Organizing Apprenticeship Project.
11:00 am - 11:50 am “LGBTQ Health in Minnesota”
What does LGBTQ health look like in MN? This session will share results from the landmark Rainbow Health Initiative 2012 health survey. Participants will also learn about what health care reform means for LGBTQ folks and other legislation coming up that might affect the health of our communities. Facilitated by Sheila Nezhad, Program Manager for Rainbow Health Initiative.

A Chance to Discuss Issues with Other LGBTQA Folks
After the rally, we hope you can stay for “Meet Ups.” No, it’s not speed dating! It’s the chance to get together in small groups related to our identities and communities within the LGBTQA movement. Facilitators will guide conversations about issues that directly impact us and our diverse communities. You’ll get to meet people from around the state and lift up our common and unique experiences. You can also give your input on the work OutFront should undertake in the future. Sign up when you check in at Lobby Day.
